Need a band that will let you escape reality and delve into a moment or two of unicorns and medieval times? Take a listen to Sigur Ross, the post hardcore Icelandic band. I’m sure a hell of a lot of people have heard them, but I cannot get over how fast they can get me off topic. One minute I’ll be doing Chemistry homework, and the next minute I am in a mysterious land fighting bad guys with swords and arrows, then making love to my concubine. Don’t ask HOW an icelandic band can bring about memories of the Middle Ages, but give those sweet sounding ice turds a listen and you might get what I’m talking about….hokay?
